So delicious, so healthy and so easy!
Of course you can substitute the beef with chicken, shrimp, scallops or whatever you fancy, but this is fast cooking for a weeknight and sure to please the whole family as well as your waistline…
for every half pound of protein, add 2 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
marinate the meat (the longer the better with the steak). I like to cut my steak while its raw with kitchen shears – cooks faster and looks nice!
Heat 1 tablespoon of peanut oil and add about 3 cups of broccoli (i added green beans too – feel free to add whatever veggies you like – the more the better!)
after about a minute, add 2 tablespoons of water to keep the broccoli nice and green.
Continue to cook the broccoli for another 3 minutes and remove from stove.
In the same pan add another 1/2 tablespoon of peanut oil. Cook the meat for about 4 minutes on each side or until done. Add it to the broccoli and put over rice and drizzle with some sesame seeds. That easy! That quick! That tasty! And a great balance of protein, carbs and fats!
Let me know how you like it! It’s always a hit in my house!
