Super Simple Crockpot Turkey Meatballs

I’m not one to prepare and prep my meals in advance, but I do love to cook so I normally find myself in the kitchen on a Sunday while the family watches football. These are so good that I always make a lot of them, because I could eat these for days on days!

So if you are one that prefers to prepare in advance, this recipe is great as you can make a big batch and keep in the fridge for the week ahead or even freeze.  It’s also a crowd pleaser because who doesn’t love delicious meatballs?

I made these with 93% Ground Turkey but you can certainly use Ground Beef instead.

I don’t know if you can even consider this a recipe since it’s so easy, but I wanted to share because it is so delicious and of course, healthy and waist friendly!

In a mixing bowl, combine the following:
1 1/2  pounds 93% Lean Ground Turkey or Beef
1 egg
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

  • In a crockpot place a jar of your favorite tomato sauce ( I love Muir Glen Tomato Basil) or a large can of crushed tomatoes.
  • Roll the above mentioned mixture into balls and place on top of the sauce in the crockpot.
  • Cover and cook for 4 hours.

Thats it! How easy and quick is that? I don’t think it gets any easier nor does the taste any better!

My favorite way to eat these Turkey Meatballs is over brown rice, but you can have it over pasta, zucchini noodles, with a side of veggies or by themselves! They are that good!
