Healthy Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies


1 cup (120g) white whole wheat flour or flour of choice
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp (28g) unsalted butter, (can use reduced fat butter also) softened
1 egg
½ cup (96g) Brown Sugar Swerve or any sugar or sugar subsititue
2 tbsp (30mL) unsweetened almond milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tbsp (42g) Lily’s Stevia Sweetened chocolate chips or miniature chocolate chips

  • Place the flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl and combine
  • In a separate bowl, beat the butter, egg, sugar, milk and vanilla
  • Slowly add the flour mixture into the wet mixture
  • Fold in chocolate chips
  • Refrigerate cookie dough for 30 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line with parchment paper or a silicone mat
  • Drop the cookie dough on the baking sheet and bake for about 16 minutes for a soft center, 20-22 for a crunchier cookie
