The BEST Healthy Brownies

I love chocolate and I love a warm brownie, especially after my dinner at night for dessert.  But I don’t always love the calories and fat that going always with that ooey gooey little delicious treat.

I have been working hard on creating the perfect “healthy” brownie and I think you will agree that I have had success!

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Oat Flour
1 Scoop (I used PE Science Chocolate Cupcake Whey Protein Powder)
1 Egg
1/4 Cup Hershey’s Dark Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips (I used Lily’s Stevia Sweetened Chocolate Chips)
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/3 Cup Sweetener (I used Swerve)

Method:

Place all the ingredients in a bowl except the chocolate chips and mix until well blended.
Then, fold in chocolate chips.
Spray an 8×8 glass pan and pour the brownie mixture in.
Bake at 350 for 25-28 minutes.

I cut into 9 pieces – that is a HUGE brownie!
Macros for each piece: Calories 104, Protein 8g, Carbs 14g, Fat 4.

***Be sure not to over bake or they will dry out.  Give these a try and let me know what you think!  Post your creations on my Facebook Page, or Instagram or Pin them on Pinterest and inspire others to have the option to enjoy their cake and eat it too, the “healthy”, Pancakes and Push Ups way!
